What’s next?
Each nominator who nominated someone who is a finalist will be sent a thank you note by someone in the Substitute Teacher of the Year Committee thanking them for taking the time to nominate someone. The winner will also be notified of their new distinction as 2025-26 OSTY (Oregon Substitute Teacher of the Year) and they will, hopefully, join us and reveal themself at Fall Conference this October 11th. There we will hear more from them about their craft and why they believe they were chosen.
