2006-2007 marks Sally Sue Cellers’ 40th year in education.  She and her husband, Mike, live in McMinnville where she is a secondary substitute in Yamhill County schools.  As a member of OSTA since 1978 she has served multiple terms each as area rep., treasurer, vice-president, president, legislative delegate and chairperson of the Oregon Substitute Teacher of the Year.  Participating in the legislative process continues to be a rewarding adventure.  With Phyllis Kirkwood and Von Christensen she represented OSTA in Washington D.C. which resulted in the formation of NSTA.  In 2002 Sally Sue was honored as the Oregon Substitute  Teacher of the Year.  She challenges all substitutes to support our profession with annual memberships and by contributing valuable time and talents.
